Developed by Dr Andrew Martin, the Online Staff Trainer is for practitioners (teachers, lecturers, counselors, psychologists, etc.) working with school and university/college students - in remote/virtual and in-person learning contexts

FURTHER DETAILS ON THE ONLINE STAFF TRAINER
- Supplied as a URL that is a link for practitioners to complete the Staff Trainer online
- Comprises 11 online Modules, based on the 11 parts of the Motivation and Engagement Wheel
- About 10-15 minutes for practitioners to complete each Module (approx. 3 hour training program in total)
- The Modules: Define all parts of the Motivation and Engagement Wheel, explain how to recognize these in students' academic lives, summarize latest research into The Wheel (including gender and age differences), and detail very practical strategies to improve students' motivation and engagement (in a classroom, group, or one-on-one instruction)
- The practical strategies can be applied in remote/virtual and in-person learning contexts
- Each Module comprises: Instructional videos, professional learning activities, interactive options, and discussion and group activity guides
- Modules can be completed in any order, as appropriate to staff preferences
- After completing the Modules, practitioners are emailed a summary of the main ideas and strategies to try

Self-paced
- For individual practitioners to work through the Staff Trainer at their own pace
- Ideal for teachers, counselors, psychologists, etc. with a focus on self-directed individual professional learning and development
- EACH PRACTITIONER receives THEIR OWN REGISTRATION to complete the Staff Trainer at their own pace
- Activities are focused on the individual and their own professional learning
Group-paced
- For practitioners to work through the Staff Trainer together as a group
- Ideal for whole-staff (e.g., teachers, counselors, psychologists) professional learning/in-servicing sessions with a focus on group-based discussions, activities, and professional development
- THE GROUP receives ONE (1) REGISTRATION to complete the Staff Trainer together
- Thus, practitioners view the instructional videos as a group, participate in activities and discussions as a group, etc.

Group-paced Pricing: 1 Group = Aus$1320.
The Staff Trainer license is for (a) the number of staff/group purchases or (b) 1 year - whichever expires first.
